What works at a graveside on Kern Canyon Road

Hillcrest services are outdoors, on open ground, often in full sun. An arrangement built for an air-conditioned chapel will not hold up there, so we build these differently without being asked - hardier flowers, weighted easels, nothing that collapses in the heat.

Standing sprays on a weighted easel — from $324.99. The usual choice for friends, coworkers and neighbours. We use a heavier base outdoors.
Casket saddles and sprays — sits on the casket itself, traditionally from the immediate family. From $199.99.
Crosses and wreaths — built tight, so they handle heat better than most. From $299.99.
Cemetery vase arrangements — for the vase or cone at the marker, so something stays after everyone leaves. From $89.99.
Loose stems for mourners — single stems to place on the casket as people pass. Almost nobody thinks to order these, and families thank us for them most.

Timing for a Hillcrest service

Order by 12pm for delivery the same afternoon, Monday to Saturday.
For a graveside, we deliver 45 minutes to an hour before the service rather than earlier. Left out longer in summer and you have paid for flowers nobody sees at their best.
Tell us the section or plot if you have it. Hillcrest is a big park and a family name is not always enough to find the right spot.
For a Monday service, order by Saturday morning. We are closed Sundays.
