We deliver in one run through the afternoon, so we cannot promise an exact hour. If the flowers need to arrive before a specific time - a funeral service, an event, someone leaving work at 3pm - call us and we will build the route around it where we can.

We leave the arrangement in a safe, shaded spot and let you know. If it is a hot day or the address is an apartment, we will call first rather than leave flowers in the sun.

It will match the style, size and feeling of the photo. Because we buy fresh each morning, individual flowers, colours or containers may be substituted with the freshest stems available of equal or greater value. If you want something specific, call us and we will do our best to source it.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Add a note at checkout or call the shop. If a flower is not available that day we will tell you before we make it, not after.

You give us the occasion and a budget, and we build something from the best flowers in the shop that morning. It is usually the best value on the site, because we are not working around a fixed recipe.

Yes, and we do it often. Give us the funeral home, the name of the deceased and the service time when you order. We build the route so sympathy flowers arrive ahead of the service, and we will call the home to confirm they can receive them. Same day if you order by 12pm. If it is more urgent than that, call the shop rather than ordering online and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

A casket spray sits on top of the casket and is traditionally sent by the immediate family only - spouse, children, parents. A standing spray sits on an easel beside it, and is what friends, coworkers, neighbours and church groups usually send. If you are not immediate family, a standing spray is almost always the right answer.

Both are right, they just do different jobs. Flowers at the service are for the day itself and are built to be seen across a room. Flowers at the home are for the week afterwards, when it is quieter. If you are outside the immediate family, sending to the home is often the more useful choice. The obituary usually tells you where the service is, and if it says "in lieu of flowers", respect that.

Yes, and we build those pieces differently. Outdoor arrangements have to cope with heat and wind, so we use hardier flowers and weight the easels. Cemeteries usually want flowers 45 minutes to an hour before the service rather than earlier. Tell us the cemetery, the time and the plot or section if you have it. Short is better than clever. "With deepest sympathy, the Hernandez family" is enough, and it is what people remember reading. Sign it with the name the family will recognise - "Mike from work" is more use to someone grieving than a full formal name they have to place. When you order online you can see exactly how your message will sit on the card before you pay.
